The Story so far

2022

Baccalaureate in Design and Art

I decided to return to the classroom to complete my Baccalaureate (BM) in the Design and Art profile. In addition to further knowledge of design and visual storytelling, drawing was a nice complementary skill. I ended up graduating top of my year with a 5.7 out of 6.

2020

Military Service

As part of the Swiss militia system, I completed my full-time basic training in air defence. Later, I moved to the electronic warfare unit, working in the operations monitoring centre during annual four-week repetition courses until 2026.

2016

Creating a "Game"

While taking my first steps in HTML and CSS, I built a rudimentary browser game. Press a series of unpredictable buttons to earn a certificate that says you are good at pressing buttons. The project unexpectedly took off and was played more than 200,000 times in the first year. buttonbanger.net

2015

Apprenticeship as a Mediamatician (EFZ)

My career started at the Sonova Group with a four-year apprenticeship as a Mediamatician (EFZ). After earning my diploma, I stayed on as a Visual Design Specialist for another three years, managing the group’s visual communication, producing digital assets, and developing a global brand platform.

2012

The first take

The moment I bought my first camera at age thirteen marked the beginning of a deep and enduring passion for visual storytelling. During this time, I made countless films for which I owe an apology to my sister Lena, who had to star in so many of them.

2007

Setting the Rhythm

When my mother built my first drum kit out of old cans and pans – a decision she regretted just hours later – she sparked my passion for playing the drums. That led to forming my own band and playing small gigs in Switzerland. Today, though I’ve put down the drumsticks, music continues to be an important part of my life.

1999

Where it all started

Arriving in 1999, I caught the final glimpse of the 20th century. Growing up as the son of a graphic designer and an art therapist, my childhood was filled with plenty of creative freedom and an impressive collection of family photo collages.
